Happy Birthday, Ba-Ba

10 Oct is Daddy's birthday and Zoe has given Daddy a big..big present by calling him Ba-Ba for the first time. It was about 2 days ago, while Daddy is playing with Zoe, the little girl without any help called Ba-Ba. Definitely a Daddy's day!

Another dinner again. This time we're doing it at IOI Mall so that we could get some entertainment for Zoe while waiting for Daddy to finish work. Obviously, Zoe is enjoying herself with Merry-Go-Round and reluctant to stop until we allow her to go for a 2ND ride! Quite fun to see Zoe starts to open up for new things. When she was younger, we can't get her on a horse ride without hugging on her.

Whenever we go out for meals, we usually order something that can be shared with Zoe and while we're eating she can feed herself.

'MA-MA"

I've been waiting for this moment for 16 months and now, finally Zoe knows how to call out Ma-Ma. Whenever I asked her to look at Mummy, Zoe will go 'Ma-Ma'. Thank God Zoe start calling or else we might end up at the doctor her for a consultation.

It's not easy taking care of Zoe. It require a lot of patience especially toddler at her age needs a lot of encouragement to help them to develop. Every time when Zoe called me, we'll hug her and praise to ensure what she's doing is right.

We look forward for Zoe to add on her vocabulary. 'Ma-Ma' is a good start.

Celebrating PO PO's birthday

This is a backdated entry. This year we decided to have the birthday party in Jogoya and of course Zoe was present as well. As usual, Zoe is very excited on the surroundings and can't keep still.

Frequently, we have to take turns to bring Zoe out for a walk while waiting for her food as she starts to grab the Shabu-Shabu that Daddy plan to enjoy. I guess she feel more comfortable outside the restaurant which gave her more space to roam.

With Zoe's curious look, we can't help it but to take more pictures of her curiosity look. Loot at her, she's actually looking at the lantern outside Jogoya Restaurant.

While Zoe was roaming outside, Kao Fu and Su Yin Cheh Cheh took the opportunity to tantalize the foods and beverages in the restaurant. I can't imagine the amount of food they have taken while we're outside!

Although it's a quiet celebration, it's quite content and happy at the end of the day. Of course, Zoe's Mummy was exhausted after the dinner as the little girl is still too excited to sleep and has stay up till 10pm (Zoe usually sleeps at 7pm)

Yesterday we celebrated Moon Cake Festival a day early. Last year Zoe was just sleeping through the celebration. This year, she's not gonna miss it but she to enjoy herself even tough she's curious why we have to use candles when 'light light' is still on.

Zoe becomes very excited when Auntie Rinna brought new newborn puppy, Fido. Recognizing Fido instantly (Zoe was introduced to Fido last week when she visited Yee Po Agnes), Zoe wasted no time and start to pat Fido and following him wherever the little puppy plan to explore
All the activities really consume Zoe's energy and for the first time she fight with Kao Fu for nuggets. It's very unlike Zoe, who is a picky eater and frequently she will push us away whenever we introduce new food to her. Anyway, that night she enjoyed her nugget very much although I don't encourage on nuggets at early age. Well, just for this time.
I can see that Zoe enjoy being with people especially young children. Being the only toddler in the family, she misses being with her little friends so we have plans to bring her for trip or meeting with some outstation relative end of this month.

Potty Training

At 15 months, Zoe is exposed to potty! It's very difficult in the beginning to get her to sit on her potty and because of this, Zoe found it difficult to poo! To avoid this situation, we only let Zoe sit on her potty every morning after her feed (coz usually that's when Zoe poo) and after 3 weeks, our little girl knows what's potty for and will notify us that she needs potty there and then. Finally, we've got Zoe on potty.
