Zoe is Sick Again

Today, Zoe missed her Muzik Garden class due to fever. Zoe was very uncomfortable and woke up several time during her nap. Her fever came on and off, and due to the medication, Zoe was quite blur. We followed her closely the whole day just in case her leg felt wobbly and fell. Even though Zoe was sick, she was an active girl and kept going to her toys corner. Just hope my little girl could recover fast.

18 months and 5 days

Zoe is an energetic baby & loves to explore on feet! At 18 months, she loves to run. Whenever Mummy says 'READY', Zoe will utter RUN and run at the same time. Like other 18 months toddler, Zoe likes to play with big bolster and don't be surprised she can actually wrap around the bolster. Now, her little fingers has better grasp, Zoe is able to pull the cart around the house and stopped at her 'little kitchen' for a cup of tea. These activities occupied the little girl for half the afternoon and it helps to keep Zoe entertained in the house.

Zoe is 18 months old

Time passes fast. Zoe is now 18 months and she has progressed since. She has grew from a toddler to a little girl. It's easier to talk to Zoe now as she has widen her vocabulary each day. However, it's also a challenge for us as Zoe starts to throw tantrums whenever she failed to do task independently.

As for socialization skill, it take time for Zoe to break the ice and open to strangers. Therefore Muzik Garden is a starting point for Zoe to learn discipline and calm down with the help of music. Zoe started Music for toddler when she is 16 months old. Finally we see some progress now. Zoe is able to follow the beat of rhythm with instruments; she's using her drumstick. Right now, she's more receptive to the teaching in Muzik Garden and very excited whenever we told her that it's time for music class and teacher will have instruments for her to play on.

Oh yes! Since Zoe is already 18 months, this morning Zoe is quite OK to let Mummy to brushed her teeth with her 1st toothbrush. Let's hope every morning I can clean her smoothly without chasing her around the house. :)

Trip to Melacca

Before I forget to update the recent trip for Zoe, I better start to pen down our trip to Malacca. Actually we planned this trip is because Daddy needs a break from his work and wanted to spend some time with his little princess. Well Malacca is a best option as it's not a very long journey to drive.

30th Nov 2009

We reached Malacca at 3pm. Since Zoe has a long nap in the car, she's ready for some adventure. But Gong Gong and Po Po were exhausted so Daddy and Mummy had to entertained Zoe while Gong Gong took a nap.

Well, not long of course with Zoe bouncing on the bed, therefore at 5pm we went for an early dinner with Nyonya crusine just next to our hotel. By the time we finished dinner, Zoe is ready to sleep, which then Gong Gong and Po Po put her to sleep while Daddy and Mummy venture out for more food :)

1st Oct 2009

At 10 am, there's a knock on the door. Finally Ah Bu and Su Yin Chie Chie made it to Melacca. Without any delay, we went to Jonker Street for Chicken Ball Rice as Ah BU and Su Yin Chie Chie have not had any breakfast. However, during the meal Zoe has been very unsettled and reluctant to take her rice and chicken! Well, she had her milk before we came out. Yes, Mummy worried her little princess will be hungry!

Since we're in Malacca, we brought Zoe to Formosa Fort for exploration purpose. Not so much on going up to the fort(well, we all get discouraged with the the flight of stairs, what's more with a little girl who loved trying on the stairs. The alternative and most convenient way to do this is trishaw ride in the city. Zoe enjoyed the ride as she had a glimpse of things she's familiar with from her book; boat, train and aeroplane and of course riding on a trishaw is really new to her.

Later, we reached Portuguese settlement for dinner. It's the jetty that captured Zoe's attention. She kept stopping and looked into the sea. This is the first time she encountered such a big pool of water! Also she's fascinated with the wave washing the stone near the walkway. I'm sure this trip was an eye opener for her.

2nd October 2009
We're back home now and Zoe is going through her books and was delighted to see things she saw in Malacca . She was very excited to show off her trishaw, ship, and seaside.

Will plan more short trip for Zoe to explore more!.
